I have this inclination for all things natural when it comes to photography (natural lighting, no flash, nothing added, no auto-fixing- simple aesthetic). I respect the modern interpretation of the art, but capturing still shots of a subject in attempt to portray it as close to reality as possible I tend to value more. It is something a bit more challenging, and what is life without challenges.

Despite the above, lately I have felt the urge to experiment in my graphics. And being that I'm those types whose ideal objective is to try everything at least once, I thought it's time I step out of my norm.

I just really feel like I need something different in my life. No matter how small the difference.

INFLUENCE | Veronica B. Vallenes

Better late than never. Had this cfw designer waiting to be posted for a couple weeks now, but procrastination got the better of me. Veronica B. Vallenes' fall/winter collection radiated softness and elegance. However, what was most notable about this collection was the close attention to detail. The Bjørg jewelry... absolutely jaw dropping. Statement neckpieces and bracelets, "horse manes" and horse hair rings. Along with that, every model wore a headband of fringe (literally, their fringe was attached to an actual headband. That would be a brilliant idea if I didn't already have them).
All of which, when combined with a color palette of black, grey, mauve, gold, creme, and mint- comes these bold looks which displayed that the art of detailing isn't limited to embroidery and elaborate prints- one or two audacious elements is all one needs.
